U14 Manchester Mystics II vs Hatters – 30 September 2023
So first game of the season for the team with new coach Tyler (new to this team) Playing in North 1 division. This season they have potentially been put against strong teams based on last year’s results so a good test playing Manchester Mystics II away at Manchester.
From the tip Hatters showed no nerves & quickly got into their well coached rhythm taking a first quarter lead of 20-6. They quickly built on this displaying great energy in defence and working well as a team right through the bench resulting in a 38-17 lead by half time.
Mystics showed some spirit starting the 3rd quarter and only lost the quarter 14-10 (52-27) this unfortunately just spurred Hatters on into the 4th quarter and the finished the game 69-37 winners. This was a great display but a result of hard work & good coaching over the summer, good start to the season 🏀
