Just wanted to let everyone know that Race Night was a great success in many ways and to thank all of those who helped to make it so. So where to begin with the “Thank You’s”. Thanks to all of you who sold horses and to all of those who bought horses, thanks to anyone who donated a prize (this helped us to spend much less on buying prizes). Thanks to all the Team managers who collected in the forms, money and prizes. Thanks to Judie who collated all the forms and allocated all the horses to races producing the programme. Thanks to the Trades and Labour Club for supplying the venue and thanks to the Wallers for providing all the equipment for showing the races. Thanks to members of the WBBL team for collecting bets on the night , selling programmes and generally helping out. Thanks to Naomi for her help with all the paperwork and compering on the evening. As a result of all your support we have raised over £2500 and there is still £300 to come in!! This is a great effort! The night itself was also a fun evening and it was great to see all the teams represented and enjoying time together. If you missed it this year look out for future events and make sure they are in your diaries.
