The B. Braun Sheffield Hatters have announced a new partnership with charitable
organization, Cavendish Cancer Care. This partnership extends to not only the Hatters but
also the Sheffield Sharks, who are both based in the newly constructed Canon Medical
Arena, located in the Attercliffe region of Sheffield.
The partnership will involve collaboration between Cavendish Cancer Care and both
basketball teams to create awareness and fundraising opportunities to support the charity’s
work. Additionally, the teams will work together to help the charity’s mission and the
importance of supporting cancer patients and their families.
Emma Draper, CEO of Cavendish Cancer Care, said; “We’re absolutely thrilled to partner
with The Hatters and The Sharks, and we are especially excited to be involved in the new
arena. It’s a great time for us to get on board, as we continue to develop innovative ways to
support local cancer patients and their families and we’re looking forward to seeing what
opportunities will develop from partnering with world class facilities.”
