It was a full set of wins for the Junior Hatters teams on the opening weekend of the new season.
The Under 14 Premier team were first up on Saturday 30 September with a difficult trip to face Manchester II away. However, straight out the gates, they went on winning streak restricting the home team to 6 points in the first quarter whilst getting 20 points on the boards. It was more of the same for the remainder of the match with the Hatters winning 37 – 69 in the end.
Next up on Sunday 1 October, the Under16 Premier team also travelled to Manchester and did the double by coming away with a convincing win against a talented difficult to play opponent. The final score was 50 – 84.
Finally up on Sunday 1 October our young Under 14 conference team made the long 3 hour journey to Barrow. Despite the early start, they pulled off a wonderful win taking it by 43 – 59.
