To celebrate International Women Day, the Sheffield Hatters Professional Women’s Basketball team put on a free basketball workshop for girls aged 6 – 15 years old on Sunday 10 March 2024.
Over 80 girls attended the event from schools around Yorkshire. It was great to see so many enthusiastic faces and a fun day was had by all. The day was packed full with basketball, from learning what it takes to be part of a team to supporting our women’s team in a big game vs Essex Rebels.
Thank you also to the supporting cast from the Hatters club who made the day a success. It was great to see younger Hatters teams supporting on the day.
